I love a new year. While lots of people trash on a new year or making resolutions, I have to disagree. A new year is always a time of reflection and hope for new things.

While I haven’t been writing as much lately, I have had a bunch of life changes and have been trying to settle in somewhat. Hopefully, my posting schedule will get more regular in the next few weeks.

One thing I started doing years ago (2020, to be exact) was start a list of things I’d like to do, read, try, accomplish throughout the year. I found the idea and list pdf from gretchenrubin.com!

Last year, I did 23 for 23 books. It was the first time I did a list for reading. While I didn’t complete every book on the list, I did read over 23 books for the first time in years, so I found it quite inspiring. This year, I decided to do two lists. One for books, and one for goals/life.

Here’s my reading list for 2024!

Here’s my 24 for 24:

1. Read 24 books.

2. Pay off credit cards.

3. Full sketchbook.

4. Post 52 articles on Medium.

5. Create daily (cooking counts!!)

6. Practice crafting/diy.

7. Try making tinctures.

8. Learn to can.

9. Weekend getaway with just the husband.

10. Plan monthly coffee or lunch date with a friend.

11. Try new recipe.

12. Try new restaurant.

13. Be consistent with planner.

14. Read Bible through.

15. Create functional studio/office.

16. Resale items online or consign.

17. Replace plastics in home; don’t buy more plastic.

18. Written budget monthly.

19. Monthly date night.

20. Create life/home binder

21. Learn to see/mend.

22. Go hiking.

23. Go camping.

24. Submit artwork and writings to contest/galleries.

So, busy year ahead of me. I am looking forward to it.

Best,

Jomad
